Abominable Snowman/ X The Unknown
Two films. Abominable Snowman - Botanist Dr. John Rollason is staying at a monastery in the Himalayas with his wife as they carry out research in the area. The Tibetan monks of the monastery are overseen by a mysterious Lhama. They all get along fine until a group of Americans arrive and ask Rollason to join them on an expedition to find the mysterious Yeti. After a huge tooth, which has been stolen from the monastery years earlier, is produced as evidence, Rollason agrees to join the expedition against the wishes of his spouse. The team set off in harsh weather conditions and as the travel farther and farther up the mountain they find huge footprints... X The Unknown - In the remote Scottish highlands, the British Army are performing training exercises using Geiger counters to locate radioactive samples in preparation for a possible fallout from a nuclear attack. When a fissure opens in the earth the two soldiers are exposed to radiation, one fatally, the army calls in nuclear scientist Dr. Adam Royston. Royston is independently conducting experiments on neutralising radioactive fields and when more victims of this unknown force emerge, Royston is called upon to devise a method for combating the unseen menace.
